Oregon Silkworms makes its own high-quality hornworm diet — we developed a recipe that keeps cost down while maximizing hornworm health. Hornworms are one of the best feeder insects for reptiles: geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, and many more love them, and their high moisture content makes them a great way to keep your pet hydrated.

Raise bigger, healthier hornworms

Our food lets you grow hornworms to the size you need, right at home. Pair it with hornworm eggs to raise your own from scratch, or keep a cup of live hornworms growing between feedings.

Cooking instructions

1. Pour the dry hornworm food into a 2-quart container.
2. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
3. Mix the hot water into the food, making sure no dry clumps remain.
4. Cover until the food has cooled and is ready to feed.

Keep the cooked food refrigerated until you are ready to use it.
